Let’s look at two recent purchases of resale condos at Gem Residences in Toa Payoh:
How did the "12 May 2021" buyer secure a higher floor unit (#15-XX) for $45,000 less than the "8 July 2021" buyer, who paid more for a lower floor unit (#10-XX)? This is a resale discount, a key strategy I use to identify potential opportunities for buyers.

We can see that the previous owner of unit #15-XX purchased it back in 2016 for $1,736,000, while the owner of the lower floor unit (#10-XX) bought it for over $100K more in 2018.
This means the first owner made a higher profit, even though they sold at a lower price!
The key takeaway: the right entry price boosts your potential profit.
